Dodgers sign relief pitcherThe Dodgers reportedly signed right-handed pitcher Zack McAllister to a minor-league contract on Monday. Last week, McAllister was released by the Texas Rangers. McAllister, 31, spent 41 games with Cleveland last year and only three with Detroit. In his time with Cleveland, he posted a 4.97 ERA and a WHIP of 1.37. His tenure in Detroit was worse, as his ERA was 21.60 in his only three games there. If he sounds like a familiar name, that’s because he is. The Dodgers signed him to a minor-league contract in August of last season. He appeared in five games with Oklahoma City, but allowed six runs in six innings of work.
